It started about a month ago when a friend of mine asked me to join this group. I was already a member of a group with this friend and I wasn’t really interested but my friend sold it as a nice group of mature gamers that play games for fun which is what I’m all about so I eventually I signed up. I joined my friend who was given a squad to run and figured whatever as long as I can play I don’t care if I’m in a platoon, squad or band.
Last Friday night September 4th my friend got myself and few other friends to join up with these guys in some group games of different game types and mixed teams so that everyone can get to know them. By the end of the night a whole bunch of them sent us friend requests and we ended the night thinking we had a great night gaming with a great new group of friends…boy were we wrong.
Within 12 hours we were kicked and banned from their forums and the only response I received as to why I was banned was “We ‘uk f’ers’ banned your a$$”. I didn’t know what this was all about until I asked the friend who recruited us and fellow friends that also got banned if they knew anything.
A friend who is still on the site sent us a private message letting us know what happened and here it is,
Someone came into our forums (which we’ve had for years) and took a parts of conversations, twisting them to make us look bad. There were actually 3 things.
1. Our squad leader was trying to rally us together and said come one guys let’s get online and beat those “UK f’kers”. Now I don’t see how this is so bad but these jokers take offense and flip out. This is no different than a coach or fellow team mates on a team pumping up their teams by saying “Let’s go kill those guys” or “Let’s destroy them out there boys”
If they would have asked about it like mature adults they would have seen it wasn’t meant as malicious and he would have apologized if he offended anyone which was not his intention. We could have moved on and continued to have good times like Friday but instead they had to take the low road and act like children.
2. The next thing reason they banned all of us was because my friend asked for a copy of Windows XP with a working product code.
They assumed that he was asking for pirated software but again not the case. A few of us work in the computer industry and can get legal Windows XP discs. He was having computer issues and needed a new disc.
3. They claimed this same person was bad mouthing another member’s brother.
Again wrong this member’s brother has been awful to the member for years and this person was supporting his friend over the dead beat brother. This guy was standing behind his friend what’s wrong with that doesn’t everyone want friends that will stand beside them in their moment of need? I know I do.
These are pretty lame reason to kick a whole group of people out with even a word. I mean I didn’t have anything to do with any of this and I got banned. The only reason we came up with as to why this happened is because we were better and they were somehow threatened by that. This group is full of immature and backstabbing people I’m not saying don’t join them cause because everyone can make their own decisions of course. What I’m trying to do is inform gamers like us that were just trying to look for cool new friends to game with that you will not find that at www.o35s.net.
Now I can’t wait to see how they try and spin this.
